Hi, Yes A.P. chemistry is quite a challenge. Good luck on the test if you're taking it.
For your first question the electrical conductivity would increase if the temperature is lowered. This has allowed scientists to experiment with super-conductors at low temperatures. There is probably a section in your A.P. text on this.
For question 2, a ceramic is a crystalline structure involving metals and metalloids, especially aluminium and silicon, connected to other elements like carbon, nitrogen, oxygen,or boron. The high tech ceramics are used in electronics as transistors.Also liquid crystal displays. Regular ceramics are your clay pots and glasses.There might be more of this topic in your book too.
