They can steal your pouch in a split of second. The situation becomes worse if you are a Chinese, because there is still a sentimental discrimination for the Chinese. So, always be alert.

You can find souvenirs like T-Shirts, antiques, and postcards in almost every tourism sites in Jakarta. They are usually sold in small stalls by hawkers. Sometimes the hawkers set an unreasonably high price because they expect you to bargain. So, good bargaining skill is a must.
